INTRODUCTION
This is a list of the top 20 newspapers in the United States by
daily circulation in 2009. These figures have been mainly
compiled by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. The Audit Bureau of
Circulations of North America is a non-profit
circulation-auditing organization. It is one of several
organizations, operating in different parts of the world, that
audits circulation, readership, and audience information for the
magazines, newspapers, and other publications produced by their
members.
