Studying at Terra Nova was a truly extraordinary experience that
motivated me to grow in many different ways. In addition to
constantly preparing the students for passing the TOEFL iBT, the
instructor provided valuable insight into the aspects of the
English language, better than anyone I have ever seen. Likewise,
the instructor did a remarkable job explaining science-related
concepts. On several occasions, the instructor brought material
evidence highlighted in the reading passages, such as a tooth of
a shark or pieces of lava, in order to help students visualize

It is well known that it is hard nowadays to find a good English
teacher. However, Andrei is an exception and it is hard for me in
just a few lines to explain why. The TOEFL preparation course
that he teaches is not an ordinary course of advanced English.
The course has a comprehensive program, including a wide range of
topics from geology, forestry, biology, chemistry, history, and
other sciences and arts. The language of instruction is English
only. The lessons were interesting and balanced if you know what
I mean. Studying a large amount of grammar and vocabulary can be
quite boring, and when we were exhausted, Andrei introduced other
activities, thereby increasing the efficiency of the studying

and my elder brother, who took the course some years ago,
